My Mac doesn't show up on the iPhone
Make sure both are on the same Wi-Fi and Monitor Link is running (its icon is in the menu bar). On the iPhone, check Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, and make sure Monitor Link is on.
The Mac asked about "devices on your local network"
Click Allow. Monitor Link needs it so your iPhone can reach the Mac. If you clicked Don't Allow, turn it on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
It says "Open UAD Console" or "Open Focusrite Control"
Monitor Link controls your interface through its own software, so keep that open on the Mac.
It says "Click Allow in Focusrite Control"
The first time, Focusrite Control asks whether to allow Monitor Link. Click Allow in its window on the Mac.
Is my volume safe?
Yes. Monitor Link caps how loud the phone can make your speakers, moves volume in small smooth steps, and fades in when unmuting or switching. You set the cap with the gear (⚙︎) on the remote.
